Day tour showing all of the best attractions and scenic locations between Glasgow/ Edinburgh and Inverness.

    Your Glasgow/Edinburgh Accommodation

At 0800 we will collect you from your Glasgow/Edinburgh accommodation and head to our first location of the day, Luss, the chocolate box village on the edge of Loch Lomond. From there make your way to the hidden waterfall, Falls of Falloch, before driving through the imposing mountains and valleys of Glencoe. This magnificent scenery has been carved by glaciers and an ancient volcano. You can stop off at the picturesque Glencoe village to get out and explore and have some lunch. After Glencoe, make your way further north to Fort Augustus. In this charming hamlet you can watch the boats pass by on the impressive Caledonian canal which runs through the centre. Make sure to visit Fort Augustus Abbey. As you travel Loch Ness, castles and lighthouses are ubiquitous in this serene landscape. A short drive away takes you to the historic and perfectly located Urquhart castle in the small village of Drumnadrochit, which is also perfect for spotting monsters! After stopping for your evening meal in Inverness, the capital city to the Highlands, you’ll make your way south stopping at the tranquil Pitlochry and The Kelpies. Culminate your tour here at this spectacular sight best seen in the evening as the equine structures designed by visionary Andy Scott light up with vibrant colour. After a day of exploring, we will drop you to the door of your accommodation at 2000.

Thank you George! We had a great day with you! We absolutely enjoyed going to Pitlochary and The Queen’s View before going to Stirling. When our plans to go to the Games at Scone got washed out, you had excellent suggestions and saved the day! Thanks again for everything.
