The 7-Day Elite Golf & Whisky Pilgrimage

Immerse Yourself in Scotland's Enchanting Beauty: A Journey for the Soul, Crafted Just for You

Example Itinenary

Day One:

Your escapade begins as our chauffeur-driven Mercedes V-Class greets you in Edinburgh. It's not just a car, it's your personal lounge on wheels, replete with every amenity designed for the sophisticated traveler. Your first destination is St. Andrews Old Course, a veritable shrine in the golfing world. Navigate through the famed Swilken Bridge and Hell Bunker, absorbing the centuries-old traditions that imbue every blade of grass. Reward yourself with an exclusive seafood dinner that mirrors the grandeur of your day—think oysters, and langoustines paired with a chilled glass of local white wine, all set against the backdrop of a Scottish sunset.

Day Two:

Day two propels you to Carnoustie, a course that tests your mettle at every fairway and offers no easy victories. Your golfing feats are balanced by a distillery tour at Arbikie, where you'll revel in bespoke tastings of artisanal spirits, encapsulating the soul of Scotland in each sip. After an intimate fine dining experience at Greywalls Hotel, you'll retire to your sumptuous 5-star room, awash with antiques and Scottish charm.

Day Three:

Next, we travel to the revered Muirfield, a course steeped in history and rigor. Here, each hole is a lesson in precision, punctuated by the dramatic Scottish landscape. This fullbodied golfing experience is complemented by an intimate tour of Glenkinchie Distillery, where you'll walk among the golden casks, unraveling the secrets of their “Edinburgh Malt.” As the stars emerge, a sumptuous dinner at Greywalls ensues, featuring a curated menu that showcases Scotland's rich culinary traditions.

Day Four:

Day four transports you to Turnberry, a links course where the winds of the Irish Sea add another layer of complexity to your game. Post-game, you’ll indulge in a tasting tour at Auchentoshan Distillery, where triple-distilled whiskies introduce you to a lighter, more nuanced side of Scotland’s national drink. An exclusive dinner at Trump Turnberry's iconic restaurant follows, as you dine overlooking the panoramic sea views.

Day Five:

The pilgrimage continues at Royal Troon, known for its 'Postage Stamp'—the shortest hole in Open Championship golf. As a midday treat, you're invited to the elegant Glenmorangie Distillery for a sensory journey, designed to tantalize even the most seasoned whisky aficionados. The evening’s lavish dinner is at the Trump Turnberry Hotel, where culinary elegance mirrors the day's golfing grandeur.

Day Six:

On day six, Royal Dornoch awaits, a majestic layout that is both timeless and challenging. Your skills are put to the ultimate test here, followed by a visit to Dalmore Distillery, known for their luxurious and complex whiskies. An elite dinner and overnight stay at Inverlochy Castle, set amidst the spectacular scenery of the Highlands, perfectly cap off the day.

Day Seven:

Finally, as we meander through the Scottish Highlands, a brief stop at Inverness Castle allows for a final touch of sightseeing, capturing the last scenic shots before our grand return to Edinburgh. The pilgrimage comes full circle with a private whisky tasting at Gleneagles Townhouse, marking an unforgettable ending to an incredible week.

How do you thank someone for making all your dreams come true? George & Lindsay's Highland Tours did exactly that! Walked ancient castle battlements, admired waterfalls, drank whiskey, and enjoyed wonderful seafood. George was a great guide, rich in history and fun. Absolutely MAGIC!!!

Steven and his Dad, George, were very friendly and accommodating. George was very knowledgeable as was Steven. I would highly recommend Lindsays Highland tours to anyone who wants to leave the driving to someone else and enjoy the beauty of the Highlands.

Special Day

Incredibly informative and funny; felt like a day out with a long lost uncle. If I come back to Scotland, I'll definitely be using Lindsay's Highland Tours. Even took a photo of George enjoying the scenery.
